Numbers

Around the classroom we have a lot of numbers hung to the wall so that we can count & learn the numbers & their value.

During the month of October we learned how to recognize the number 1 & its value as well. We also learned how we should write the number by feeling it on corrugated paper & sand paper. Then we wrote the number with our finger in sand, rice, with paintbrush with water in the yard, on the interactive whiteboard & with thick crayons. That way we learned how to writ the number without using pencils so that next year we will find it easier to catch up in Year 1.

This is the number 1 made on sand paper & corrugated paper for us to feel its texture with our finger so that we can learn how to write it.
